Inside the pod
Inside, everything is set up for a comfortable, easy stay. There’s a proper sofa, Smart TV for evenings in, and a compact kitchenette with hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, enough to cook real meals, not just snacks.
The double bed is tucked just behind the seating area, and the shower room is only a few steps away, with full mains pressure after a long day out.

Outside, the private patio has a pergola, table and chairs, an outdoor sofa and a barbecue which are ideal for slow mornings or relaxed evenings.
The view looks out across the paddock and surrounding countryside, and on a clear night, the dark skies make it worth staying up for.
Dogs are welcome and can enjoy the outdoor space with you.

Located in Brigsteer, just outside Kendal, you’re perfectly placed to explore the Lake District’s lakes, walking routes and local pubs — without the crowds.
Windermere and the high fells are within easy reach, while nearby villages offer great food, coffee and slower-paced days out.

We stayed at the pod on site over August bank holiday and even though it is only a short drive away from most places it was as if you were a world away from the busy Lake District you are used to.
